Electric Service

Electric Service within Pawnee City is provided by Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD). Click the link above to visit their website.

Sanitation & Recycling

Sanitation Service is provided by Seneca Sanitation but billed through the City Office and will be included on your water bill. If you are a new resident and you would like sanitation service where there is none, please call us at 402-852-2781 to begin service.

Recycling is no longer available at this time. The City is looking into other options so we can start back up Recycling Services again! Stay posted for more updates. 

Chamber of Commerce

The Pawnee City Chamber of Commerce's mission is to promote civic service through the organized efforts of the men and women of the community; to improve the general welfare of the community and quality of life for its citizens through active, constructive projects; to promote civic consciousness in the men and women of the community to better their usefulness as citizens; and to promote and operate exclusively for the charitable, benevolent, educational, patriotic, cultural and civic purposes of the community and surrounding areas.

Water Utilities

Water Utilities are provided and billed by the City of Pawnee City. To start service you'll need to complete an application packet, and pay a $100.00 deposit and $20.00 hook-up fee. You are eligible for a deposit refund after 12-months of on-time payments.

Application packets can be downloaded below and returned via email to pcityhall@pcityhall.org or picked up in person at the City Office, hook-up and deposit can be paid by mail, in person, or online. See the Payment Options page for more information. Payment must be received before service can be initiated.
